Let me try the Jesus part proverbially:
Let's assume for a moment that we are all Christians who wait for the second coming of Jesus, the Messiah.
Now let us assume for a moment that one day, in our time, an American guy named John Smith arises and claims to be the second fulfillment of Jesus. John Smith looks nothing like Jesus; he does many nice tricks and magics but somehow misses the part where he should fulfill his prophecies regarding his people. And not only does Smith not fulfill his prophecies, he also claims to be something very unchristian- he claims to be the son of both god and the devil.
While most of us, good and realistic Christian people, mock the ridiculous effort of Smith to repute himself as Jesus (because he is not the first one to do so!), Smith DOES manage to gain followers- the Smithers. Absurd, eh?
The Smithers wrote a third holly book about Smith, on which it is clearly stated that the second fulfillment of Jesus will be the son of the devil and so forth (surprisingly fits Smith perfectly, only too bad that it was written post factum)…
And many many years from now, a young curios Smither will post a question: "if Smith was Christian, why is it that many Christians are not Smithers? The Messiah is not recognized by his own".
Here is the Jewish perspective regarding Jesus: Jesus did not fit the descriptions of the Messiah, Jesus did not fulfill the prophecies of the Messiah, Jesus claimed (or was claimed) to be something very unjewish- the son of god. Thus, Jesus is not the Messiah.

k.. in answer to the first person who answered this. Jesus never said John the Baptist would be the last prophet, in fact, Christ said in Matt 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city. Also in Ephesians 4:11-14 it says: 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every word of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.
Amos 3:7 explains: "Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets."
Anyways, on to your question. I believe that Muhammad was a man who testified of what he thought was truth. He is considered a prophet to some. We don't believe that Muhammad was a prophet because we aren't Muslim. We would have to be in the religion to believe what you believe.
As far as the Jews and Christ. They believe he was a prophet, or great teacher, but not the savior. They have the belief that their Savior will deliver them from bondage and slavary. Christ didn't deliver the people from slavary from the Romans, so he isn't their messiah. There are other reasons also, and since I'm not jewish, I can't answer for all the reasons. Some Jews did believe Christ, and converted to what people called chrisianity at the time. Back then, it was hard to say you believed in Christ. There were many things that made people scared or worried to say they believed anything but the jewish law.

I agree with what you say about one God. I belive that He created all the religions and that they are all following His guidelines for humanity. If you think about school...then you realize that you can't learn calculus in grade 1 and this explains why there are different religions. Each prophet brought to earth a new message, each appropriate for the time in which it was revealed. If you look at the Torah, Bible, Koran, you can see that the messasge that God has sent to us becomes more complex, and we are able to comprehend more. Therefore the old religions should embrace the new ones, because the message is being renewed and the knowledge increased. If you look carefully, each prophet does acknowledge the prophets before them. The division of religions and all the anger and hate are man made, not made by God. Its us humans who have been blind to realize the great cycle of religions and how this progressive revelation is our life guide.

I think that muhammad probably lived, I'm not sure. I don't believe he got the word from God because he says Jesus was "just another man" and Jesus "wasn't as important" as Muhammad. I just love the idea of how good Jesus is, and He no way deserves to be put under Muhammed:( Muhammed is for Muslims.

Christ Jesus is mentioned in the Bible hundreds of times, His very words are written in it as well. Muhammad is mentioned nowhere in the Bible. All our modern day calendars start with Jesus and count forward to this day. Muhammad never raised people from the dead, or healed them of disease. Muhammad was never crucified. Muhammad was never foretold by the Old Testament. Isa. 7:14 Only Christ Jesus can claim these things and many, many more. The entire New and Old Testament scriptures point to the personage of Christ Jesus as the Messiah. As for the Jewish people, the Nation of Israel, God says in His Word that there is coming a time, when ALL Israel will acknowledge Christ Jesus as Lord.
Jesus came to this earth with one mission. He dedicated all His time to fulfilling that which was written of Him. He had no time to start wars, or be married, He simply preached Love and Forgiveness and had time for nothing else.
His life, His death and His Resurrection is His proof to us, that He is who He claims to be..... Praise The Holy Lamb Of God !!
God Bless You....Peace.

Jesus said that the last prophet would be John the Baptist, therefore according to our own religion, Mohammed couldn't be a prophet. Also, the Bible says that the person who denies Jesus as God and savior is a liar. Mohammed did both.

There is a large section in the Bible dealing with false prophets, and jesus was one of them. He said that G-d appeared and said that He changed His mind about how Jews should be, and as a rule anyone who says that is automatically false(that's what it says in the whole thing about false prophets) And if Jews knew he was not a person who would lie, then wouldn't Jews have accepted him? And lastly, if we was the messiah, we'd sort of be able to tell.
i hope that at least sort of answered your question.

Jews have self belief in Jesus as a large rabbi. they have not got self belief in him as a messiah simply by fact they suspect that their messiah will deliver on an era of peace, protection, and restore the Jewish place of delivery. conversing purely bodily, Jesus Christ did no longer combat the Romans, unfastened Israel from Roman rule, etc. Christians have not got self belief in Muhammad as a prophet simply by fact they suspect that, whilst Jesus Christ ascended into heaven, the "tale" replaced into finished. Muhammad got here particularly much six hundred years too previous due into the Midldle East, a region of the international that replaced into quite stepped forward yet remoted from the "Christian" region of Europe that had already, in those six hundred years, set up traditions it replaced into no longer keen to break via inclusive of Muhammad's teachings in its faith. those, via the way, are the social and historic solutions on your questions. i do no longer possibly have a trustworthy, "staggering" religious answer to furnish.

Jews do not believe that Jesus was the messiah. Christian doctrine has no place or need for Muhammad in their beliefs.

The jews were too pridefull to accept Jesus as a messiah,
and the christians follow a book whose been influenced by a man called Paul. Paul hadnt even seen Jesus. But he was the one who supported the idea that Jesus was God.
You make your conclusions.
