these things happen when you least expect it. and how can any one point out a guy for you? be your charming best and tell your friends to introduce you to their guy friends. meeting people through the Internet is a bummer and not really a nice way to get to know some one new ,as there are deceptive people all over.
there will be a boy to run after you and chase you. i can sense it. its in the air ! ;)

The main thing that I have noticed is stop worrying about it and start living your life. It really seems that when you are happy with your current situation, and happy with yourself, everything balences out.
Take some classes or go see some live music venues. Get involved more with things you love. He'll come around.
You could also meet some pretty cool guys online, but you have to be REALLY careful with that.

Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect. It means you have decide to see beyond the imperfections.
