In tenth grade I went out with this one guy. We talked on the phone for 2 months and than he asked me out. We broke up in 2 weeks a day after his birthday. Now, I am a senior in high school, I just turned 18. He became the captain of the football team and has had a girlfriend since than. I do not like him however, he is always staring and checking me out even telling his boys that I am his "ex-girlfriend" when I pass by them.. My point is that since we broke up two years ago, I have not had anyone else ask me out. I've a couple of older guys (who used to be seniors) like me..they obviously graduated. And now that I am a senior I have NO ONE. I am so alone. What is the deal? What do you think? Thanksmuch!

dont worry...most high school guys are immature anyways, like your ex for example..just have fun with your girls..and focus on graduating and making this the best year of your life!! good luck!

Don't feel bad about being alone. I am in 10th grade now. I have NEVER had a boyfriend. Sure I have liked bunches of guys, unfortunately when I finally get the nerve to ask them out they either already got a girlfriend, or they say that I'm not pretty enough. I did find one guy. I don't know if he likes me or not, but I cry over him every night. I have been wandering for a long time if the pain will ever go away

Let me first say this. Every guy you have ever dreamed about or wanted will be rolled into one guy someday. That guy will be your husband. What would you tell him about your past? I felt that way toward guys and it hurt me so when I could not get them to marry me. Even being a senior in high school hurt me with guys. My dad always told me to treat guys like friends, but I did not understand my emotions then and choked. Then when I met my husband in the back seat of a bus we clicked. I dont know what happened but it happened. So my advice is go on with life and wait for that special someone to come into your life. If you dont wait that special someone might be upset but understanding about you not waiting for him.

What you need to do is make the iniative. See a guy you like? Ask him out! If you wait around for guys to do it, there's a good posibility you'll still be waiting when you graduate. See what your choices are, listen to your heart, and take the iniative to follow it. Good luck!
