All medications have an expiration date. If you have doubts take the allegra to your local pharmacist and have it checked out. I would assume after 2 years your prescription has expired, I believe most prescriptions are only good for 12 months. Only thing is that they are less potent.

The expiration date is i third of the time where one third of the Drug will have a 10% decrees in the active ingredient.
There are large margins of safety. Since it is only Allegra sure why not.

As a general rule they tell you that you should not keep any medication over a year. My son had some Asthma medication I had not had to give him in about a year and a half and I just through it out and had the doctor write him another perscription.

Don't take them. Medications have a shelf life and if it's been that long I wouldn't take the chance. If you have allergy problems, check out the information on this site. You may find other things that can help.

There should be an expiration date somewhere on the package or on the bottle. If you can't find it, call your pharmacist.
