when he messages,calls or chat with me i got over excited. i just couldnt stop smiling.. he knows that i like him.. he said i'll always be in his heart, when he's feeling down, he said he's lucky to have me... but he never said that he likes me or 'i love you'. what does it mean?? i dont understand. i cant ask him or i just might lose him.. i'd rather have him as a friend than ask whether he likes me or not and lose him.. im more than 100% sure that im in love with him..

Love is not just about getting excited about his calls and his attention, that sounds more like infactuation. You should decide if you really like this guy then that should be a risk you take, because the worst thing that can happen is that he says that he doesn't want to be more than just friends-but you know, instead of always wondering "what if". just approach it in a way that your not putting your self too out there. Bring it up casuallly, like " can you imagine us being more than friends? that way it can be a general question-unlike if you confess your deep feelings for him, because if he doesn't feel the same the pain might compromise your friendship. If you feel so strongly about him and want him to feel the same, then you have to let him know somehow that you want to be more than just friends. Try writing him a note explaining how you like him but don't want to lose him as a friend if he doesn't feel the same way, or just say it to him. Tell him that you rather have him as a friend than not at all, and you just want to know how he feels about you. Hopefully he'll say what you want to hear, and if not there are many people in this world and someday you will find the one who feels this strongly about you. Good Luck, hope I helped.

what does he mean by lucky to have you? does he mean friend or girlfriend? As him net time he saids that what he means? He can say your in his heart always but that could be a different kind of Love ! He could be saying he cares about you alot but not Love you the way you want ! He will tell you if he does truly love you !

Love is not a maybe thing. You know when you are in love with someone. Honestly if you are coming onto this website and asking people if you are, then you aren't. If you "THINK" you love him, then you don't! You will just know when the time is right for you to know that you love him. You will just know when you love him. But there has to be 100% no doubt in your mind. Sorry if this is not what u want to hear, I am just keeping it real and tellin you the truth.

I've been in your shoes plenty of times before. While it does make you feel amazing, don't lose your head over him just yet. Keep it cool.... he'll come around sooner or later if he likes you too and if not he isn't worth your time. Remember love is a rather large word. Good luck hun :)

It sounds to me like he only has strong friendship feelings for you. Try some things to bring out his true feelings. Dress sexy, ask to take him to the movies. But you also have to be careful that you don't set yourself up to high, that if he doesn't have the same feelings you do, you give yourself a broken heart. Be careful nd good luck.

I have been married for 30 years to the same man. We started out as friends, even though it was love at first site for me. It took my husband two years to say he was in love with me. Three years later we were married. Sometimes friends fall in love and sometimes it doesn't happen at all. If its meant to be it will be.
