If you care what those asshol'es think, you should not get a tat. A tattoo is not an Ambercrombie T-Shirt. (a fad) It is a life choice. If you want a lower BACK PIECE, go right ahead. A tattoo does not make you a lesbian either. It's just a tattoo. People talk about one place or another being "cliche" or "overdone." People get tats every day, every where on their bodies. If you name it, it gets tattooed, a lot. Good luck.

I personally do not like the calf. I thnk it takes away from the natural beauty of the leg. I like the lower back, but I think that mnay people call it a tramp stamp or something like that. ALSO< the lower back is fairly common while the calf is original.
Good luck!

It depends on how big the eagle is. You ribs might be a good place. Between your shoulder blades or on your hip might be good too. I'm not much for the lower back. Calf is cool depending on the design but I've seen lots of bombshell girls with calf tats and they look fabulous. Maybe have it stenciled and see where you like it best. : )

i have lower back, I think its a sexy spot, but more importantly, its a spot that changes very little as you age. I know its called the tramp stamp spot...but its your body..do what you want.
I also love tattos on a womens side, rib area, its very sexy...but also the most painful.
i have one in the lower back tramp stamp spot, and one that starts on my tummy wraps around my waist, across my back and up to my shoulder blade.
I work in a conservative office, but all of mine are covered by a basic shirt, so no biggy.
I personally dont like tattoos on the boobs. I am not gay, but work out in a gym with lots of lesbians....I notice they have lots of arm work, not calf work...in fact I dont see alot of calfs done for women, mostly men. But get what you want, where you want it...those who matter wont mind and those who mind shouldnt matter.

Honestly...the whole "tramp stamp" idea is stupid...if you are planning on having a baby in the future....it will not distort when you get pregnant and it's in a location where you can either show it or hide it...your choice.
I have a lower back tattoo...not directly on the spine but the meaning of it could not be farther from that of a tramp stamp.
The person makes the tramp...not the tattoo. Get the tattoo where you WANT it....you're the one wearing it....

Get your tattoo wherever you want it, and the people who know you already know that you are not a lesbian or a tramp. If someone makes an assumption of you that's not true, then that's their problem to figure out. Be happy with what you get and where you get it.
Cheers!

i'd rather have you get it on your lower back than your leg. leg tattoos are extremely unattractive (atleast to me, and about 1/2 the world.) aside from that, what about your hip, rib cage, or somewhere else. good luck. but bottom line, do what YOU wanna do, i'm just providing a point of view.

Get your tattoo wherever you want it! I have a tattoo on my lower back and everyone calls it a "tramp stamp" but just don't listen to them because I love my tattoo and wouldn't trade it!!

i think you should get one wherever it will look the best. have the artist put the stencil on your back and on your leg. take time to look at it and see how you feel about them then. it's hard to say without seeing but the back is flat and seems like there may be more potential for more scenery if that is what you're going for.

Evidently I am a tramp b/c I have one on my lower back.
I also have one on my hip, my ankle & on the inside of my wrist....wonder what those indicate.
I say, screw what everyone else says & get it where YOU want it. Opinions are like *******; everybody's got one.
