I wouldn't recommend it. The salt water rinse is the way to go. Don't swish either, this can lead to dry socket, which is very painful (believe me I know).

After having wisdom teeth removed you are not supposed to do anything for at least a few days that will cause any kind of suction, because there is the possibility that you can develop a blood clot and that will then lead to all kinds of other problems. I would recommend following the oral surgeon's aftercare instructions, and if you did not receive any I would suggest calling the doctor's office and asking them just to be on the safe side.

I just had my teeth removed at the beginning of January and the dentist told me to brush and floss and rinse just like I did before. So I did. Everything turned out fine. The only thing I constantly did was spray the tooth holes with a dental syringe thing. That helped keep food out of there during the day.

I recently had mine removed and was given a mouth wash similar to Listerine to use by the dentist after 24 hours. The only caution is not to swish too violently as you could dislodge the blood clots.

I wouldn't. The best thing to use is warm salt water rinses. They will keep the area clean and help speed healing.
