I want a canon camera, because from what I've heard it's the best. Does anyone reccomend the Canon SD40? A lot of places say that it is not very good. What about the Canon S80? Please help!

I have also read less-than-stellar reviews of the SD40. It looks cool, but the pictures don't. The S80 is somewhat older, but it seems to review well and it has a sensor that is about twice as big as the SD40, so that makes sense to me.

If you want "cute" and still pretty good quality, consider the Canon SD600.

Go here and click on "Read Owner Opinions" as well as the "In-depth Review," if one is available. (S80 only)

I have a more expensive Canon, and yeah, it is excellent, but it is also big and heavy. I'd recommend the Casio Exilim EX-Z850, which is a high quality camera that is smaller, lighter, and cuter.
