Just leave it alone unless you are prepared to hear things you don't want to hear, or have any expectations on what he will say. That is just a good way to get into an argument.

leave it alone, if you constantly nag him about why he loves you it's going to turn him off. Just appreciate him and the fact that he does

I think it is best to just leave it alone unless it is a relationship ending thing. He will tell you why in his own time.

If you've been together a while and you KNOW he loves you. Otherwise he might be like, well, I didn't think we were that serious! Of course you can ask, maybe he'll start to list things, and that should just make your love grow deeper. :)

i know this might not be the answer you're looking for, but of course ask him. you might want to know the truth and if its not a real reason or whatever, you might want to consider whether or not you really want to waste your time with someone with that kind of answer. it could save you in the long run.
