Ok, there is this guy i like and he likes me too.On friday i asked him if he wanted to hang out, and he said sure. we tried figuring out where to go, but never did. he had my number, so i thought he would phone me, sometime during the weekend, but he never did.
I was talking to him, and he said that he was sorry and said that he had other plans with his friends. Then he said that he wouldn't be able to hang out for the next 3 weeks becuase of hockey. he said that he has it 5 times a week and then on the weekends he has to go to other towns. then he said that we would still want to hang out at school...
do u think he is just making excuses not to see me or do u think he is telling the truth??? i dunno what to do, i really like himmmm ( he has been known for lying sumtimes..and is a cocky kinda of guy lol )

You made it obvious when you said he's known for lieing and he's cocky. If he's cocky, don't ask him if he likes you. He'll look off to the side or laugh when he says he does. And if he lies, obviously him saying he does is one too. About him and the excuse of hockey, I couldn't say if that's a lie or not but I do know that hockey practice is almost an everyday thing for about 3-4 weeks. And yeah, don't hold your breath for him if he didn't call. If he liked you, he would have thought about calling and made it instead of being out with his friends. A call is like 2 minutes long. I'm not sure why he couldn't fit that in his schedule.

Hockey is a full time sport, there is very little time for anything else. I have friends that are the same way get home for an hour from school go to practice and are up until 2 in the morning doing homework. So his excuse could very well be plausible.

Don't just sit around and wait on him. hang out with your friends and keep going on with your life. He has your number just see if he calls when this hockey thing is over. Oh and best thing it he does not call. When you see him a give him a slight smile and he will give you some lame excuse. You just tell him you have been busy to. { If you have to make something up} Just don't appear to anxious. Then he will feel like you are chasing him. Guys loves to be the one chasing.

I do not believe that he would have hockey 5 nights a week because they would be too tired to play in the tournaments on the weekend. Find someon who really cares about you and go and enjoy. Take care Heather

hey forget this guy.....y do ya wanna waste time on a guy who does'nt have time 4 u?....n hangin round at skool means he wants to use u......maybe just as an object for show off......hes clearly indicatin that he could'nt be committed even if u get into a relationship......he might be makin a silly excuse....try to find out frm his frnds even if he's partly true.........but da best thing to do would be to leave him......if he still really likes u....he'll come back.....otherwise just think u were'nt "made 4 each other at all"

Yes, you should forget about him. The guy is making to many excuses. He can always find time to spend with you even if he has hockey practice. Find another guy that has time for you.

Sports are important to a lot of people. But it sounds like to me he is not that interested. Maybe down the line, but don't sit around waiting for this guy.

He's a player, move on. At school he is cool with being around you, but other than that he really doesn't want to be seen with you. So the one thing you need to remember is that it isn't you that has a problem it's him.

Well, judging from what you wrote, thats how I would take it.
Reading between the lines, he sounds like one of them arrogant types that would find you lots of fun if he didn't have anything else on his busy schedule to do...
