One to two days - but do not eliminate supplliments such as fruit juice. You need to keep your blood sugar up. You can become ill or even pass out if your sugar levels get out of sinque.....

Never more than that because your body will then go into starvation mode and begin storing fat.

You can ALWAYS repeat a fast ever 10 days or so.
TRUST ME - I am the "Fastng Queen" and I have done this many times before. Limit excercise when fasting and excercise often when not fasting. OK?

This will give you optimum results........... THAT REALLY WORK!

Muscle starts to break down at about 9 days. Fasting should be done with safety and health in mind. Fasting for the daytime and eating only at night is one way to do this. Fasting for a limited number of hours or days should be considered with the advice of your physician.

Whatever you decide remember, you should always drink enough water to keep your body healthy throughout it all. :)

Moslems start fasting from before dawn till the sun sets.
For about 12 hours (tropical country, days can be longer in sub-tropical countries). For one whole month. One of the purposes in fasting is to know how it feels to be someone less fortunate, who can't eat 3 meals a day and hopefully become a more modest person. Another benefit of fasting is that its a good way to cleanse your body from unhealthy toxins.

Fasting in Islam is:
-no drinking or eating
-sexual intercourse
-no smoking

from pre-dawn till post-dusk :D

I've heard of people fasting for as long as a month. This is a bit extreme, though. Most people fast for a day or two. However, if you plan to fast make sure that you drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and make the hunger pains go away!!

Nothing you can do to accelerate hair growth. It has been proven however that healthy hair grows faster than damaged/dry hair so if your hair is damaged/dry, you should consider taking some dietary supplements.
