What is the proper ratio of peanut butter to jelly in a PB&J sandwich?

Wow an Australian ;O Peanut butter and jelly is a common sandwich in the states. :) Peanut butter is made from peanuts. Jelly is usually fruit in a jar without the seeds. Jam (which is better for you) has seeds and chunks of fruit. Peanut butter and jelly is served on bread. Jelly is not like jello but they both do jiggle :) It's also reffered to as PB&J. -had one this morning-

It is how ever you like it. I use more peanut butter than jelly most of the time and who meaures anyway? That takes the fun out of it. I always mix mine together on a paper plate and eat the left overs with the spoon! It's also fun to add chocolate chips or rasins to a peanut butter sandwich. I like peanut butter and banana too.

In the finest kitchens of the South where 7 silverware/three drinks and four courses are the basic service, we make them 2 tabls. peanut(guber)spread and 1 teas.pom(jam)with each slice of fresh baked hard sourdough bread. But out the backdoor it is eaten with a fork on a plate with stack of three bread 1.glob @slic for guber and 3 sploops of jelly(current or cactus berry) this is served with lite coolerwine and big ole'napkin.

LOL it's 50/50; spread the jelly on one slice, the peanut butter on the other, put them together, this is the dripless method.
