Yes - I can relate to that. I read the Psalms sometimes but more often than not, I "converse" with God - tell Him about my day, concerns, praise and thanksgiving items, or requests and sing spiritual songs quietly. I have no set time for these things and often I wish I could find a small of group of sincere Christians on fire for the Lord - like the one I had when I was in Sydney years ago. Now, when I go to church, I often feel like we are watching people perform (singing, preaching, etc.). It makes me very sad, although I cannot criticize my fellow Chistians who seem to enjoys these things. Maybe I sould have been a nun or someting... hee hee hee.

The bread that came down from heaven. Living waters. The Bible, other Christian writings. Sermons feed me, but I have a Pastor that preaches the Word and what the Lord tells him to preach to the congregation.
Some churches feed the people the Word better than other churches. Ask God where to God. What church has a pastor that preaches Gods Word.
Also. To have a praise & worship service where all can participate & praise God in corporate praise. God battles our battles for us then. Just lift up our hands and praise Him.
Also, first thing in the morning, pray to God in spirit and truth, praise Him in spirit & truth and thank Him in all things. Pray in the Spirit building up your most holy faith. Read what scripture, book the Lord leads you to.
If a sermon isn't feeding you, there is something wrong with the sermon or you aren't feeding on Gods Word.

Service. The first thing Jesus said to the woman at the well was "Woman, pour me a drink". Its not about how God is serving our needs or feeding us....its about how we show our light be serving others.
Song. Get some good Christian music, go to a concert or find church/chapel that has prayer/praise services.
Prayer. There are 4 kinds of prayer: roat (sp)prayer , petition, praise and productive. The first is the kind you are reading and repeating in services or from your bible. Petition is asking God for direction for you and for blessings for others. Praise includes your gratitude to God....but also praising those around you. Give out a few spare compliments (lol) they are free. Write a thank you letter. And Finally, the productive prayer is just when I do the work in front of me with a heart for Christ...not always easy to do.
God Bless....
Keep on seeking, Keep on knocking....

I read bible based literature such as The watchtower magazine or what does the bible really teach. Prayer really helps too. Just close your eyes and talk about your problems and what your thankful for. If the sermons your hearing don't mean alot to you, look around maybe your in the wrong church listening to the wrong people. Jehovah will listen to you and even answer you. Just remember that the answers may not always be what your expecting.. email me if i can help

That is becasue you do not learn anything. The bible speaks continually of Gods law and obedience and how people should keep it and of false prophets which the world are filled with. If you really want to know, here you go. You asked for it. Now it is up to you. Nothing but the truth of it all. If you go to court not being familiar with the law, you can get into some deep trouble. Man has law to follow we have laws in our homes schools and public places, why do people think that we should not continue in gods law. KNOCK KNOCK
Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man.

Studying His word with prayer and being sensitive to the Spirit leading and teaching. Usually it is about what I'm going through at any particular moment. I also like listening to contemporary worship and praise music. They seem to give me what I need when I need it at times, or reminds me of His great love for us. Also going to small group bible study has been a blessing, sharing and caring for and with others. Talking with God and listening for His reply, or simply being quiet in His presence. Sermons from the pastor at church. It is amazing how the Spirit works through all this, providing us with exactly what we need.

Christians need to:
A christian always needs to read the bible.
I have read and studied the Word for many years.
Pray daily (without ceasing).
Fast.
Home bible studies.
Fellowship and activities with as many christians as can.
Focus on things that are of good report avoid evil.
(today liberal theologians and the PC world says do what is right in your own eyes and your interpetation of god will accept it).
God never accepted Isreal when they tried that (or any other people).
You know these things (as a bible ).

Art is a wonderful way to 'feed your spirit'.
Looking at religious art, listening to religious music, even painting your own works from your heart and soul, can all help you feel a stronger connection with God. It doesn't have to be what one would consider 'good' art/music/etc, it just has to be from your heart, and show your spirituality. This has helped me in the past.

Find a born again believer and share your souls with each other and share your deepest inner needs and cross reference these needs with the scripture and a bible concordance. Or find a small bible study group.
Or if you feel you have satiated your soul with the basics try studying prophesy. Or volunteer to teach sunday school.
