actually, a couple of months ago, they found out a man that had spent 21 years in prison for murder was INNONCENT! How can you ever give someone 21 years of their life back? :( Its always really sad when someone is put in jail for a crime they didnt commit...
i think Bush should be put in Jail for murdering Thousands of innocent people. Theres nothing more valuable than a life.
BTW i recommend the movie Green Mile, if u havent seen it... its story is kinda like that and its VERY sad. :(
Peace.

No I can't say that I know of one who has been falsely imprisoned.
I do believe that now only thanks to DNA, there will be a few proclaiming their innocence to be of the truth.
As you said,"You genuinely know of 3 innocent people."
I also believe some times when the Justice system has failed the people it is due to the fact of not enough evidents taking into accountability, and to quick to solve the crime.
For what ever the reason may be for this action one only knows!
It seems that when one who is Falsely committed and set free, is never free of all the pain and suffering.
No one can put a price tag on that!
Once labeled always labeled.
We are not to quick to believe nor forget.
They are always a lifer in their own mind.
Freedom maybe just a word but to that person /s set free is not so quickly accepted in their mind or society.
Not all of us but a good many.

I work in the medical department of a prison and I have heard some stories that really made me question why that inmate was in prison. One inmate that I recall told me that she had gone to the house of a relative with her child & her relative had been manufacturing meth in the garage. The house had been under surviellance for a while and while she was there, the police raided it. They thought that she was involved with the manufacturing and her relative tried to explain that she had nothing to do with it, but they didn't believe her. She ended up in prison and her baby was turned over to CPS, (child protective services). I read her file and everything she told me was true. I just can't figure out why she was sitting in prison. Maybe they had evidence that tied her to the crime, I don't know. It sounded pretty fishy to me. I use to believe in the death penalty, but I have since changed my mind. There are other inmates who are in general population who have committed more heinious crimes than those on death row, they just didn't qualify for a death penalty case.

Yes those two border patrol agents who thisCongress &Pres won't release from prison but seems to be punishing them for capturing a pot smuggling illegal who been caught at least twice. This is a RED FLAG something is very wrong next it could be someone else lied about by 'Justice' dept.
The sentence for doing their job: 10-12 YEARS
Other rewards: being in the midst of criminals they had previously arrested
If anybody enjoys what the US used to represent CNN suggests to send in complaints to Cong & WhiteHouse re this travesty

Yeah sure. I worked in a prison too and every single one of the inmates claimed to be innocent. Amazing, huh? I'll say that probably less than 1% are innocent and don't deserve to be there.

I don't actually know anyone in that situation. But that is why I am always weary of the death penalty.
