It depends. It depends on what the dog behaviorists think is reasonable (and the customer). It also depends on how great the behaviorists really is. It is up for the behaviorists and the customer to decide on a reasonable price.

never had a dog before. but I think a dog behaviorists get quite a lot. when you went to VH1, (I usually do) from what the selebs do, they cost a fortune. well, if I ever gonna went into the pet store and pay for a dog (which is never) I will think twice (no, more like a million time) to take that dog to a behaviorists. note , to make things easier, buy a puppy and slowly train it yourself!

There are a great number of factors. Will the behaviorist be coming to your home to work with the dog? Will they want your dog to be in a residential program for any period of time? Where do you live?
(Being a vet should NOT be one of your requirements for them. Absolutely DO check out their references, though.)

Depends on where you live and the degree of training. I had a dog behaviorist come to my house for $150.00/HR but he was a DVM. Many are NOT vets and ask MUCH less but can help you as well if they are experienced. ask around your area.
