Me, I believe that God created a magnificent world around us and welcomes any and all investigation into its workings. I also believe that a scientist knows she doesn't have all the answers ... I don't either lol.
Unlike you however, I know that God exists, and yes, religion is the creation of humanity, it's supposed to be the method you choose to worship. I try to live a good and worthwhile life and have no fear of either God or the afterlife, these things are already confirmed for me. And yes, we are responsible and we have the power to make the world a better place, not just because God said to, but because it's good for us.
So see? We agree, and yet disagree

I have always felt that there is some Higher Power, but have always evolved concerning doctrines and theology and have gained a better understanding with my maturity.
I believe in a Supreme Being, and that he is the most clearly revealed through the personage of Jesus Christ, who had the flesh of a man but the Spirit of the Supreme Being inside him. He was infallible in life and sound in judgment.
His true followers can be indwelt by the Holy Spirit, but still maintain some attachment to the sinful nature until dead. Upon death, those found with the Holy Spirit have their sinful nature obliterated and go to heaven as pure and righteous heirs and children of God.
Those who die with their sins, having never sought atonement, go to hell which is a place of emptiness and separation from God, but like heaven your bodies will be immortal and you will not feel pain or anything like that.
Both places are eternal, and being eternal there is no reference to time
I believe that morality comes from the Holy Spirit, not "a book", and that the morality of the Atheist comes from the whispers of the Holy Spirit which is trying to make itself known.
I believe there are many good people on this earth that shame Christians who are supposed to live according to a higher standard than the rest, and I would hope that more Christians would follow the fundamental teachings of Christ and not 17th century theologians or 21st century televaneglists.
I also believe the Spell Checker needs to work faster on longer posts.

The bible says every way of a man is right in HIS own eyes but God pondereth the hearts (Proverbs 21:2). I feel I feel, I think I think is the way we humans are, but what does the word of God say. His word is true and he is true and very much alive. Sounds like the devil has tripped you up. Living for God is the best thing that could have ever happened to me. I don't curse no more, lie no more, or any other ungodly act. God has all power to deliver and he has done just that for me. Living without God means you love the world and your own way. The scripture says: Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world the love of the father is not in him. For all that is in the world the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life is not of the father but of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever. God is real, the devil is real, heaven is real, and hell is real. You choose which way you want to go but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. God bless you!

I believe that there is a God and that Jesus is the son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to wash away our sins and rose again and is still living today. I believe that there is an afterlife. I believe in the Bible and that it is God's word. I agree that religions are completely man made. I believe that both the big bang theory and the evolution theory are both science fiction.

I do beleive there is a God. It was just this weekend that I went to a christian camp & God did some truly amazing things for me. I felt this burning passion that I have never felt before and that isnt something you can make up. Its not a feeling you can get just by worshipping, I believe you get it by God's presence. Its just something you feel, its hard to explain, you know it when you experience it.
ok, so as for proof which I know your going to ask for; The baptism of the holy spirit (speaking in tongues). I have witnessed it and that isnt something people can fake. So yes, I know God is real.

I am an agnostic, polytheistic Wiccan. I believe that deity is manifest in everything. I do not "worship" deities; I give them respect. I do not "know" the gods exist, but I believe that they do. This is an essential distinction.
I believe that deity is completely and fully independent of any religious beliefs. I do think all religions have part of the "truth."
I do not believe in absolute good and absolute evil. I do not believe there is one correct path. Many paths lead to the top of the mountain. I do not believe I need any sort of intermediary to connect me to deity. That includes priests and holy books.
I believe most people are good at heart.
I believe in the eternal soul. Since I do not believe in any sort of judgement or heaven/hell, reincarnation seems logical to me. I believe the soul continues to learn and grow infinitely.
I do not believe in the "supernatural." Nothing is outside of nature - including deity - so there is no such thing as "supernatural."
I take my morals from nature: Do what you must to survive, but don't harm other beings unnecessarily.

I completely agree with you, somebody. In addition, i saw this question on why euthanisation is "humane" (the good human way) for animals in terminal pain but not for humans and that brought one of my beliefs to the forefront. I am not for or against human euthanisation but, i do believe that humans and animals are equally important in this planet, none more important than the other. So all that jargon about soul vs no soul, not proven in humans and has not been disproven in animals. Also the only reason why lions have not gobbled us all for dinner and taken over earth is because of our intelligence so please use your power of reasoning and do not just accept beliefs on faith. We are evolving not trying to go into extinction

I believe in a God that gives us the opportunity for perfection and is everywhere, not at a higher power or a ruling or judging position. I believe that God does not create evil, evil is created by man and man needs to realize that evil and sickness can cease to exist only if you believe in the bible and that man is God's image.
