Unfortunately, you can't get rid of them completely without getting a haircut, but if you use a good moisturizing shampoo (I recommend Sunsilk Hydra TLC) and hot oil treatment once a month you can keep them from getting worse.

You can't get rid of existing split ends by any means other than cutting them off. You will have to get a trim. However you can help prevent getting new split ends by using a deep conditioner (like Aussie 3 Minute Miracle) or hot oil treatment once a week.

Wind damage. Hair is whipped and splits on the ends. Dryness and not brushing long hair. Brushing pushes oil down the strand to the tip, keeping them from drying out and splitting.

you can not put on some magic lotion or product and expect no split ends. you really need to cut them in order for your hair to stay and look healthy. I do not know about you but my hair looks like crap and wont do a darn thing utnil the split ends are taken off

Try Infuseum 123. That helped me with my split ends, but it is a good idea to have a trim every so often.

there is not any such treatment or 'selfmade' recipe. the in trouble-free terms products that say they eliminate them, easily stick them backtogether, It would not eliminate them, and also you'll get breakage(as split ends reason breakage,). So the in trouble-free terms aspect you need to do is a Trim, and keep getting a trim each and every 4-6 weeks, to stay away from them,

You can't get rid of split ends. It's natural - nature's way of letting you know you need to trim your dead hair!

the only way is to trip them off above the split. otherwise they will just keep splitting all the way up the hair shaft.
