yes. go a few days without makeup. use an oil free acne wash, in the morning, and at night. make sure your hair is washed every day and not touching your face. The oil from your hair can clog pores. After you wash your face with warm water, and an acne face wash[ i recommend clean and clear oil free foaming facial cleanser about $5.45 at our local grocery store, Target, or CVS pharmacy], . Then put on something with benzoyle peroxide[ i recommend clean and clear persa-gel maximum strength about $4.99 at your local grocery store, target, CVS pharmacy]. Look at the label it should say 10% benzoyle peroxide. after that try a oil free moisturizer.
diet is important, but eating a chocolate bar doesnt give you acne. just make sure your eating healthy, and stay out of the sun. use an oil free sunblock. basically, stay away from oil!
i Will give you step by step instructions.
before bed-
1- open pores by splashing face with warm water
2- wash face with "clean and clear oil free foaming facial cleanser"
3- rinse with hot water.
4- dry with towel.
5- apply clean and clear maximum strength persa-gel
6- let dry
7- rinse face with ice water to lock pores closed, and clean.
8- apply oil free moisturizer[ i recommend Neutrogena Moisture Oil Free Formula, Sensitive Skin its about $10.00]

all together it will cost bout $20.00, but its worth it for clear healthy skin right?
might i suggest bare minerals? you dont have to worry about forgetting to take it off!

repeat in the morning.

Some birth control pills help with acne. They're generally cheap. Tricyclen is the best on the market.

Since acne has nothing to do with dirt or what you eat, but everything to do with hormones and the rate at which your skin is genetically predisposed to exfoliate, you will need prescription strength medication to treat it. It's really like any other condition. It will not go away until you treat it properly. This will entail seeing a dermatologist or your family doctor for a prescription.

Most products that you will take will help for a quick fix, but they are not dealing with the real problem. most people have no idea why they break out, well here is the reason!
Skin eruptions or blemishes can also be constipation symptoms. Constipation can cause acne and it can worsen existing acne conditions. Many people fail to understand the skin is a major organ responsible for eliminating waste. When the liver and kidneys become overwhelmed by substances that need to be evacuated from the body—the skin will try to come to their aid. Individuals who are constipated are backed up with fecal matter and it’s impossible for the skin to remove fecal matter. However, the epidermis can show signs of its attempting to rid the body of toxins by becoming inflamed or breaking out.

The acne web sites basically indicate that you are wasting your money on cheap products and some pricey ones too as none of them work.

Acne products are like snake-oil. They are created to make money for companies and they don't deliver what they promise.

The web sites indicated that the only reliable solutions required a prescription from a doctor.

Sometimes it is cheaper to take a vacation to Mexico to get medical treatment. You might talk your parents into a vacation.

well first of all, dont feel bad. we all get them =). and secondly, try washing your face two or three times a day with soap and warm water. avoid makeup or other oily products like lotion on your face.. espcially around the problem areas. hope this helped.

ps.. dont pop the zits!

Check out www.acne.org. They have a 3-step system and you use stuff you buy in a store and do the steps twice a day.

Proactive ($19.99)
if you still think it's expensive (not the best suggestion but!) you can order it and return it after 30 days (30- or 60 day Money Back Guaranted)
