"Christians these days will look for all the wrong doings of all the other religions, but usually they are blind to their own wrong doings(or their fellow Christians wrong doing)"

So, do you agree, or not?

Please explain why?

Thank you. This question is just a matter of opinion, I did not generalize all the Christians, I know that Christianity if practiced properly it is quite peaceful.

To Serena: I saw your answer on that question about Islam. Now how about we take out the word Christianity and Christians, and put in Islam and Muslim....Oh wow now it makes sense to you and you agree 100% like a robot.

I look for the wrong in my own.....believe me if my pastor, for example was to start preaching something contrary to the Bible, I'd take a hike and find a proper church and QUICK! That's why you need to know the Bible's TRUTH so you won't swallow error!

I agree. Why? Because it is true. I go to church on Sunday and I listen to mindless, ignorant crap from other people - not all but more than I like. The devil makes people do bad things, and if we don't go out and convert everyone else they go to hell. The school I went to preached love and the lessons of God - then condemned the Catholic Church down the street, and the three Catholic kids at the school - that I neither liked nor tolerated. It is small, but significant acts every day that lead me to believe that this statement is horribly, and pathetically true.

No, I don't agree.

Five years ago, my religion (Roman Catholicism) was hit hard by a sex-abuse scandal involving some priests who had molested children, mostly boys.

There was no "turning a blind eye" to it, though. The Church faced the problem squarely -- unlike some institutions, such as the public-school systems, whose sex abuse of minors makes the Catholic priesthood's problem seem like a Sunday picnic.

Most of the cases of priests molesting kids happened many years ago -- yet the Church still took the issue seriously enough that it now has prevention programs in just about every diocese in the world.

In 2005 (the most recent year for which stats are available), there were only about 20 or 25 priests in the US who were accused of sex abuse of minors. That's 25 out of 45,000 Catholic priests in active ministry in America.

To me, that shows that the Church has not turned a blind eye to this issue -- it has faced it head-on and has, for the most part, purged it from its parishes and schools.

I know 9% of the religious hate crimes in 2005 were Christian verses Christian.

I know that a great big number of the serial killers of the last century were Bible fanatics.

I know a great BIG number of women who kill their children are Christian.

And I know that a lot of Christians that say that those people who do these things aren't Christian. Everyone saved in the Blood of Christ is going to Heaven, so I don't see why they can say this.

If properly practiced, as the Bible instructs, Christianity is a monster. Slavery, murder, and killing children and unborn babies is all in the Bible and a-okay.

i think of it has continually been confusing to be a youthful Christian yet specific, the international in the present day isn't assisting... it is in easy terms an entire new checklist of devil's approaches... a million Peter 5:8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, searching for somebody to eat. Ephesians 6:12 For we don't attempt against against flesh and blood, yet against the rulers, against the government, against the cosmic powers over this cutting-edge darkness, against the non secular forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Well, modern day chritians only believe one thing in the bible.

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Out of Gods word this is the only thing that modern day christians seem to come up with. This is a huge book with a lot of instructions for man. I think they forget to read the other parts.

Rom 10:5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

If they would read the versus before that, which refers to the old testemant, they would know that there is more that needs to be done. No one is save but Jesus. We have to work on our salvation on a daily bases.

No.
I am constantly criticising things in Christian churches, and things done by Christians, that are unbiblical. The thing is,no one hears baout it,and they assume that all Christians approve of what they are doing. For example, some of the scandals that have destroyed churches. All Christians are horrified at this, and committed to doing better, but it isn't reported. All you hear about on the news is half-baked accusations against Christianity in general,as though we are all robots who are programmed to do the exact same things as each other.

Yes, in general I agree.

I believe it is because the christian belief is that they exist in the realm of God's Grace, in which, no matter what they do, as long as they repent, then they will be forgiven by God (Romans 3:27-28).

Absurd in my humble opinion.

Churchianity is a heathen religion. Salvation comes from YHVH in His way. If you are not in harmony with Him, you are in the cold! The Almighty YHVH created this world very good. Once man sinned, he could no longer meet the requirements of YHVH. Because of His great love for man, He sent His son the Savior. The Savior's name means YHVH is my Savior!--YAHOSHUA! The only way one can have his sins taken care of is to invite the Savior in to carry them. If a person chooses to remain attached to their sins, they will be consumed in the cleansing fire the Almighty will send to cleanse this world so He can make it new! How could the Almighty be more generous?

Actually I don't think the majority of Christians are doing this. It's just those few who become so annoying that they ruin it for everybody.
