They're not wired for monogamy.

Their biology says to have as much sex with as many women as is humanly possible during their lifetime. It's genetic engineering to ensure the survival of our species.

Sounds like scientific mumbo jumbo, but I'm thoroughly convinced...because there can't be an emotional reason, men are too single minded for such things.

It's not hard for a man to stay with one woman if it is love. If it is just a fling, then you get what you accepted in the beginning. If you were "easy" for him to catch, then the fun is over really before it gets started. Most guys move on because they get bored. Moving on to other women is usually a sign that the person they are with didn't make the game of "hard to catch" to hard at all and they need the challenge to keep them interested.

By distributing seed, men ensure that their genes will more likely carry over to the next generation than if they are purely monogamous (quantity). This made sense in an environment of low survival rates. But as we got safer and more established, there made more sense in going monogamous and ensuring higher quality kids that benefitted from more attention from both parents. However, we still operate with the older mindset, and the temptation to resist it can be difficult.

I think most men settle in relationships are aren't necessarily happy, so they keep looking at the expense of their partner. Once a guy finds the right girl, he won;t have problems staying with her.

I don't think that's the case for men in general. I think SOME men have trouble with commitment and others don't. The same can be said for some women.

Because the woman usually does something(s) that the man can't take anymore. Women tend to make the relationship they have all about them, instead of about the two of them. There's only so much of that any man can take.

I think it is because men have to find the "perfect woman" and in all relationships find flaws with their woman, and try to find another woman who fills in those flaws

Some men are naturally that way. Some are more comfortable with one, or none.
