Yes. Technology is any kind of scientific advancement, and is only in the eye of the beholder. When someone tied a stick and a rock together and called it a hammer, that was considered technology.

As for modern technology, probably not, but another species will just evolve and build better things.

And why you posted this is "religion and spirituality" is beyond me.

No When God pours out His wrath on the earth during the great tribulation period all modern technology will be destroyed and the wars that are fought will be on horse back. Revelation 14: 20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs. Revelation 16: 20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

If you mean technology with a capital T...absolutely NOT, we will kill ourselves thinking that way.

A toaster is technology, the same as a bow and arrow, that kind is around to stay as long as we are.

Unquestioning use of, near worship, will not, it goes against all natures laws and those will remain till the day after forever.

Yes and no. In the next 40 years the willing will be merging with the computers and will be leaving for a different existence. Those that remain may or may not continue to use technology depending on how screwy they are.

Nothing is forever. Although there are many possible scenarios for an earlier demise, one certainty is that someday the sun will nova and earth will be nothing but a cinder with no record of life having ever evolved on it and no record of the names or history and accomplishments of its inhabitants. The rest of the universe will never know we existed. It is an almost certainty that this fate has befallen many other civilizations elsewhere in the universe already.

No.

I'm sure we'll have a time where all of our technology and knowledge goes down the pipes and we have to spend another 1500 years relearning everything again.

I'd LIKE not to experience that again, but it's possible.

Remember:
Ancient Rome had indoor plumbing.

Forever is a long time, if there is an 'end' to the universe then I expect not. But if you are thinking hundreds or tens of thousands of years, then yes, it will grow and solve more problems. Well, unless there is a killer asteroid...
