Give it up!!
She is too immature (and do you want to be in a love triangle with your best friend)?
Both of you run for the hills, far away from this girl!

I dated a 17 year old when I was 15. IT SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh man, it was the worst experience of my life and I think I only did it because I was hyped up on antidepressants and real weird and transitional at the time. I was dumb, young and lost. I suppose I grew from the experience and so on, but... yes, it sucks. It makes you feel like this older guy thinks he's better than you and he's not, and he'll talk down to you and so on. Even if the older guy doesn't say he's better than you, you'll constantly feel like he's insinuating it. The point is, she probably went for the novelty of an older guy/any guy liking her and now she realizes that she might want someone else. I'd date someone else if I could if I were you, that's my advice. I know I'm harsh, but trust me, girls are complicated and confused, and I've been in her situation a bit.

I was in the same situation but we're still together some how. The thing with girls that old is that they're still learning how to feel for others and such. I could be wrong but anyone else would be confused at that age. and if she likes your best friend, why are you even trying? If she loved you she wouldn't decieve you. slowly give up on her cause it seems like false hope. she'll just look at you as the rebound if it doesn't work out with the friend and trust me, you don't wanna be that.

It is unusual at your age to find your life's partner and only you can now if she is the one that you want to spend the rest of your life with. However, because you will change markedly over the next 10 years, it is doubtful that she is the perfect long term partner for you. If she wants space, give it to her and take the opportunity to look at other girls more your age.

Seeing as how you are younger, I'll be as gentle as I can. Try and forget about her and move on. Attempting to get someone back that left, is almost always futile and pointless. Treasure the memories you made, and find someone new.
