I'm guessing when you say 'ethical Gay man' you are referring to someone who is not susceptible to a promiscuous lifestyle. A man in that position should express love & sex towards another only when a strong committment is involved.
In terms of general behaviour, he should maintain his ethical nature by having good manners, being honest with others, being ambitious, self-confident, etc. all the basics of being a good-natured human being.

He should do what his parents taught him for what is right and what is wrong. Do not steal, do not kill - obey the laws of your country. He should help little old ladies across the street like straight men should but never do. He should find the one man who makes him whole and love him wholly and completely. That is how he should behave. Unrepentance, atheism, and homosexuality really shouldn't matter in our lives, I think that in the long run, they don't matter to the Creator either.

Because being nice to other people makes him feel good about himself? Because even his small actions might make the world a better place for someone else, and he thinks he'll enjoy that outcome? Because the alternative, being a mean, violent person is a nice way to live unhappily, which he doesn't want to have happen?

I can't tell you how to live but you could give God a try and see how it works out. You will find that he is not at all hateful but full of love and acceptance. All you have to do is ask for forgiveness for your sins and he will do it just that easily. As for your being gay I have no answer except that he still loves you even though the bible says what it says about homosexuality. You should just love God with all your heart and love others as you love yourself.

I'd imagine, having read your answers and questions in the past, that you have a pretty good idea how to do both things. You should follow your internal moral compass. Judging from what I;ve read...you won't have a problem.

Exactly the same as a straight man or woman. People should treat others with respect. People should act in a dignified and respectful manner.

You have to live with yourself and your choices, so I suppose any way you so desire. I believe that most know the Truth and chose to act otherwise. I agree that this is probably the wrong category for this question.

Even though you are atheistic, there are some good rules to live by in the Bible. For instance "the golden rule", Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
