It might be a viral infection, an antibiotic won't help:( Drink lots of fluids (OJ or something with Vit C) and get some rest. Check with your doctor. Get well soon!

A few months ago my throat got really sore. It was like that for like two weeks before I did something about it. Of course over those two weeks it got worse and I was able to see a blister or bump in the back of my mouth(top of throat). I cured myself by experiment. I took some aspirin. I don't remember the name of it, but it was pre-crushed aspirin in little strips of white paper. The packets of crushed aspirin came in a blue and white box that can be found at any drug store. Try that.

I think it is only a minor viral infection. Sore throat is usually due to a viral infection. Gargling with warm salty water or mouthwash can reduce the pain and inconvenience. You can find some good home remedies at http://ailments.in/sorethroat.html

do not go to the hospital..bad advice....dont overcrowd them more than they already are..
how long have you felt like this?? do you have a fever...go to a clinic, get a swab done, if it comes back as strep then get some antibiotics....until then take some ibuprophen for the earache (eustachian tube to throat)

its just a blister, keep a cough drop on you and drink lots of water. Take some cough liquid to sooth your throat and take it easy.
