Sometimes i do not get why people don't show appreciation like some instances you let someone over while you driving when it was your right away they don't even show common courtesy, also holding the door for some people it does not take much effort to say thank you

but i have kinda learned is that you do things from your heart and should not expect anything

I have learned to also not do anything unless i have too or asked

What is the best to deal with these rude people ?

My best is advice is never to expect anything from no one, just forget about those people, there is a saying in the bible you reap what you sow, good people are treated good, the bad are treated bad, remember when being nice is for yourself not them.

The best way to deal with rude people is to just to move on to the next thing and don't focus on them. I grew up in the North and now live in the South. In the South people tend to say thank you when hold doors open or do other things like that. Northerners do not say thank you as much but they do actually help one another a lot.

I think there is an internal peace that comes from conducting oneself in a considerate way and I recommend you focus on that.

The fact you want do be helpful and kind and considerate shows who you are. Just relish in that feeling instead of looking for any feedback from others!

I understand how you feel, with people these days it is best to not to be courteous unless you get to know people or they show some form of appreciation let some of those people open the door for themselves don't let a person over whom is not using their turn signals, the signs are always there that is what i have learned through my life, also never expect anything from anyone then you will alright.

I notice things like that all the time. The first answer summed up how most people think now days. They don't think common courtesy is that important. It's the way kids are raised these days, I suppose. Yes, do things from your heart, don't let others discourage you. Just keep doing the right thing. If people are rude, that's their problem.

Some people just don't have good manners. I hate when I hold the door for someone, at the bank, for example, and they don't say thank you. My way of dealing with them is to say "You're welcome!" anyway. It's even worse when these rude people have small children with them. What an example they are setting! Thanks, I feel better now :)

Now days children and adults have to be taught hospitality, etiquette, manner, and respectful behavior.

It is just a fact now.
