Christians can't be possessed but about 2 months ago I felt like a hand had a firm grip on my neck for about 2 weeks. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with me until suddenly one day it just felt like whatever was in or on my neck jumped off my neck! It was at that point that it seemed like it was a spirit or something on my neck. It wasn't inside my body or anything but it was just really uncomfortable for those 2 weeks. It left at that moment and never came back.

From what my church teaches, most christians do not know they are possessed. I have seen the demon expose itself in church insdie the person. I have seen a few person get demons cast out, but no one walk up and say " can you cast this thing out of me." I have felt something trying to get in and take over my mind before when i was really drunk on alcohol before. My Dad let demons into the house for a while and sometimes I felt like they tried to take over my mind sometimes, but I would never let them.

Oddly enough, as an atheist I have never heard of one of us having that happen. The ONLY people I've ever heard of getting "possessed" are all people that believed in it. Kind of telling...

No, not personally, but I have witnessed a few people being demonic possessed and demonic depressed.

If you suffer from sleep paralysis with hallucinations (like I do) you may believe that demons/evil spirits/aliens/whatever come and visit you. Luckily, I did a little research on my abnormal sleep patterns and found out that it's all in my head!

They will attack and try to make you do what they want
You have to resist, and pray and cast them away from you, or they will take you over and you will be possessed.
