Being 16 years old does not make a cyst o.k.
Obviously you need to bring your girl to the vet.
Tomorrow is Monday can you rush her to the vet?
What if it is a serious issue, would you want her quality of life to be compromised?
Obviously a cat does not make it to 16 if it had a rotten "parent" and shabby medical treatment.
Wrap er' up in a blankie and jet on over to the vet.
When she gets home give her some yummy food she LOVES. It will lessen the "trauma" of having to leave her place of contentment to see a vet.
Smooches to your little kitty!

If this is an indoor cat then I wouldn't think it would be a cyst. If outdoor than possibly if she got in a fight it would take a couple of days for the cyst to rupture then you'd see the ooze and blood. Definatly have to go to the vet to get an antibotic to put in in. Atleast, that was the situation I have had.

Is your cat spayed? If not, it could be a mammary tumor, which very well could be cancer. Unspayed pets can get tumors because of the high hormones produced by the reproductive organs.

Take your cat to the vet and have them check it out. I had a cat who had mammary tumors, and the vet removed one mammary chain. After having the tumors biopsied, they were found to be cancerous.

Good luck

Your cat needs to get to the vet ASAP. might you opt for a draining abscess purely therapeutic itself? NO...you will possibly want scientific care and antibiotics. in case you are able to no longer handle to pay for to take ideal care of any animal, you mustn't have them. might you want maggots growing to be on your neck and decrease than your epidermis? Do you already know what you're doing is animal ignore and cruelty? you need to be reported.

Kitty needs to see a vet. It could be several different things but if you have loved her for 16 yrs she is worth a trip to see if this is something that can be made well affordably.
