Bone pain is one of the most severe pains I have ever witnessed in a cancer pt. If you have cancer, the pain is different than if you have something like arthritis or a bruise.
Bone pain is very effectively treated with over the counter medicaions such as acetaminophen 1000 mg 4 times a day scheduled. I know it sounds flakey, but it works along with other medications such as Morphine or Dilaudid or Fentanyl.
Try it.
Also, radiation is effective in relieving bone cancer pain. I have seen cancer pts go from not being about to roll over in bed to walking in 3 days with radiation treatments for metastatic bone cancer.

The Best way is to start some kind of pain management through meditation in parallel, This is been offered at almost all the cancer hospitals and many service organisations across the globe.
