well Degrassi is Degrassi lol... I swear they have had absolutely every pregnancy scenario on it so they love weaving a zillion issues into the plots. Still a great show and everything. But eating with fainting, I've heard you can survive up to 40 days without food, and only 3 days without water, but the fainting really varies for everyone.

It depends strongly on the amount of body fat the person has. Body fat is the energy reserve the body used in old days (many thousands of years ago) to survive in famine seasons (when people's lives depended only on the crops, there were not supermarkets to buy food!!
It is bad when the person gets to the fainting point because it means there is not enough fuel in the body to produce energy for the brain, therefore the brain shuts down as a defense, in order to re-direct the small amount of energy left to the vital organs, such as heart and lungs. Something similar happens in a comma, the brains shuts down to give the body a chance to recover from some major trauma.

You can to a month without food. You can only go a day or so without water. If you are under stress and you have low blood sugar, from not eating you can feel faint, or actually faint. Most likely time would be if you do not have breakfast that day. I would expect your body to adjust after a time.

that depends on the person...each person is different...some people get hypoglycemic sooner rather thanlater, especially if exercising a lot and not eating...
it is not true that just have fluids or IV fluids can keep you going indefinitely..if that were the case people would never eat and never die... in the hospital people are on feeding tubes, or TPN (total parenteral nutrition) because your body needs more than just salt water to survive...
you want to lose weight?? Eat the right foods, low in fat...and exercise..there is no other safer way to do it without hurting your body and having serious long term side effects
