How can you tell if Rye Bread is going bad?

First sign is the texture changing... it'll get stiffer and crumble. From there the yummy fuzzy stuff starts to grow.

Ummmmm..... I am no rocket scientist but usually mold is a good sign of badness......or nastiness ...or penicillen.... which is good??? So i dunno?
