There are many different programs out there but one that does both virus and spyware protection is AVG.
Download also zonealarm for a free firewall.

the best anti virus i hav ever used
its fast,durable and updates are even good
try that
it is a freeware
u can get it from internet
search in google and get the link of the site

i've used a lot of them, but the best by far is zonealarm. it really works too, and yes it's FREE!

*IF* you're asking about Anti-Virus, Spyware, Messenger protector. etc...
I HIGHLY recommend AVAST. I've used it for YEARS and NOT ONE Virus, etc has gotten past it....
BTW, It's FREE!
