i have trouble asking a girl to be my girlfriend, its not really that i cant do it i just think i have a commitment issue where i really like the girl but i always think that another girl could come along and id miss a chance with her so what should i do about it opinions are greatly appreciated

I don't want to be mean, but you sound like you're in no mindset for a commitment at all. I think a commitment would only make you feel tied down, and you'd feel obligated to stay with her, despite the fact that you'll have a prominent roaming eye.
Just hang out, have fun, and MAKE SURE find girls who are in the same frame of mind as you are -- no strings attached. That way, no ones' feelings are hurt, and you can keep on having a good time.

Dont go for commitment right away. Learn about each other and have a good time. If it all seems good for the both of you, it will happen and you wont have to worry.

take what you can get. if you like a girl, really like her you wont even notice the others nor will you want them. go for it. life's to short to waste.
