Being a sailor for over 20 years, I've heard lots of lines ... most unsuccessful.

The best come-back to a bad pick-up line is as follows:

A young buck walks up to a young lady at the bar and asked her how she liked her eggs in the morning.

She looked at him through narrowed eyes and coldly said, "Unfertilized, thank you."

The young buck did not understand and walked away dejected.

I walked up and congratulated her for that line; I then bought her a drink and walked away alone, but wiser.
