Me and my sister are trying to figure out something either at home or really cheap to do tonight with our dad so we can have some quality time what should we do? ?

How about playing a board game, cards, Hit the Deck, or go out for some ice-cream, bowling, look at some family pictures, make a big dinner to enjoy and talk together about things in general. Rent a movie to watch together and have popcorn handy. Just enjoy your time with your dad is what counts!

Depends on what your goal for the evening is....if you want to talk to your dad and learn more about him, do something interactive like a board game or bowling or make dinner together the three of you.
If you just want to do something to say you spent time with him, a movie where you don't really have to talk much is ideal.
I prefer to make dinner with my dad because I learn about how he grew up and what kind of parents his were. It really helps me understand what makes my father tick.

Bowling is a blast. It's cheap and entertaining. Maybe you could just talk or watch your favorite comedy together.

rent movies and pop tons of popcorn and buy lots of candy. or, you could each bring a cd of your favorite music and everyone has to listen to each others favorites. i guarantee your dad's music will be different than yours and your sisters. lol

Do you have board games, monopoly or scrabbles or chess? You can play those games with him.
