It seems as though there are more young kids learning about this site and just use it for entertainment. I see silly questions and ignorant answers that are repeated just hours later. It has gotten repetitive.

Does anyone else see this or is just me?

No, I see it too. I just look thru all the questions and try to find the ones I think are serious, the people that really want or need answers. But you're right--a lot of people use this site just to be stupid or silly.

I see it too; I have been a apart of this since June of last year and I am only on level two because I am so selective to what I want to answer.
There are a lot of questions that are being asked and I sometimes wonder if they are just seeing how many people will answer or how they will respond.
I too don't care for the questions on what to name my dog....
Good question.

nicely, i've got by no ability published a query in basic terms for the sake of mocking faith of any style. the sole qustions i've got afflicted to waste my ten factors on have been severe and many times have been in different categories. yet you prefer to appreciate my historic past. i'm an Atheist (greater specificly i'm a LaVeyan Satanist). i'm 19 (i would be 20 in November) yet i'm consistently informed i glance and/or act older. No i've got not got a university degree nor am I in college on the 2d yet enrolling is a purpose of mine. as quickly as i'm in I plan on majoring in psychology and taking minors/generals in phylosophy, mythology, and theology. All my existence i've got had a facination with old religions besides through fact the fashionable impact of previous orthodoxies. I actually have a administration possition in a retail outlet, nonetheless i'm searching for a greater fullfilling and better-paying activity (retail sucks). I evaluate myself to be enormously intelligent, yet I do aknowlage aspects the place I fall short. Is that what you opt to pay attention? Or are you purely attempting to cajole your self that each and all and sundry Atheists are unintelligent, immature nay sayers who turn a blind eye and a deaf ear on your ideals?

i'm new to this site and quickly approaching the 'old lady' status...but i'm young at heart and love my dogs..i found this site and have asked a very serious question about my toy poodle puppy who recently had surgery to remove the top of his femur due to legg calve perthes disease...now he has developed a liver problem from anesthesia or medications or who knows why..i am very frantic to find a way to save his life....as of tonight i have only received two replies...maybe not many people are on this site seriously or maybe no one has an answer for me. i love this little guy and don't want him to die. so you see i'm as serious as i can be

Unfortunately, the trolls have "adopted" the dog forum it seems. It is a shame. YA does have potential for being very useful and educational if and ONLY if they can find a way to get rid of certain pests permanently. I don't understand why other sites don't have this problem while YA continues to fight the fight against trolls.

YEAH! It is so ridiculous. I don't spend my time answering those questions though, I am a kid. Not that young though, but I ask and answer seriously! (The only reason I found yahoo questions and answers was when I was opening a fake stock account. - For practice)

yeah, there are some pretty stupid questions and answers. however, we can't be serious all the time and thank goodness people don't always have serious issues to address. i feel that i know a lot about dogs from having raised several, trained several and read a lot on the subject so when there is something serious i add what i think i know. however, if i'm bored and want to waste some time on this board and there isn't anything i can lend to the common good of man/ dog kind, i try to have a little fun with the stupid questions. do you feel there is something seriously wrong with that?

I truly understand what you're saying! Many people use this as a hobby while many people really need help. Many people are busy looking for the good questions rather than answering them.
