We live in the suburbs all they do is work and watch TV I came back about 2 months ago. I applied for a couple of jobs but haven't heard anything back(I might not knowing this place) My family has lived in this city for about 12 years and they have no friends. Crazy huh? they never go out unless it's to the grocery store ,or to eat out. I really can't go out because I don't have a car,and since I just moved back here it's hard to met people. Sometimes I just want to scream at them go get some friends!! Let's go find some people to hang out with!! Let's go do something!! but I know they would look at me like I was crazy. And would not even think about stopping what they were doing. Any suggestions?

don't be so concerned with your family, concentrate on yourself. You go out and don't make excuses why you can't - like the whole you dont have a car thing! you are doing the same thing! Your family obviously are happy doing what they are doing. If your not, put your energy into changing it. Public transport works doesnt it? Further, if you dont like it, move out again somewhere else! you are never stuck! Don't waste your energy on trying to change other people. Its not hard to meet people stop making excuses..........*smiles* one day you will thank me.

While you are living in your parents' home be sure to respect them fully. If they are content with their lives, and then God Bless them. Once you find a job you'll be able to make some friends, and you can request meet friends from Q&A anyone living in your area give details.

Contact your old friends in the place where you had trouble with the landlord and go visit them or invite them to your home (with your parents' premission of course) Good luck

God Bless
