... the gospel is offered as salvation to all human beings.
If one was to assume that Christianity was the only correct path for humanity, what about other beings? One would think that other beings wouldn't need salvation for the "sins" of humanity. So, if this is the case: If a being was physically human, but spiritually another creature, would s/he need salvation?
For example, a cat in a human body. Suppose this is possible, and that Christianity is true: Would this person need salvation as other humans do, or not? What would happen to them?

dragonseyangie: That's what I was talking about! I didn't say Other-kin, however, because I doubt that most of the people here would've known what I was talking about.

What the cat in a human body refers to is what some, mostly non-Christians, call other-kin. Other-kin is a term to describe someone who believes that they have a spirit other than human such as a cat, dog, or even a dragon.
To answer your question although the spirit may be feline in nature it still will have human tendencies because it is in a human body thus it will have human knowledge. So the soul would need salvation from it's body's tendencies.
Also I do believe that animals have souls based on my experiences with them. Whoever said an animal can't cry is very mistaken. If animals don't have souls how is it that they could care enough about someone to protect them or save their life if need be?

You ask an interesting question, although one that I assume has no answer in Christianity nor would it be assumed to be possible. However, IF this situation does exist, I would assume that Christianity would teach that all people, or animals, or combo beings who do not hear the Gospell while here on Earth, would have the opportunity to hear the "Gospel" in the next life (life after death) and would have the opportunity to accept it there or deny it.

There is no need to question this because it isn't a true scenario. Sounds like a reincarnation scenario, which is not something that happens. The REALITY is, that God offers salvation to all human beings.

Technically the cat-in-a-human-body wouldn't need salvation. They would simply live a sin-free life as they are not human in spirit. (I'm not Christian so I don't know if I count, but that is how I would interpret the dotrine.)

the soul needs salvation, the body needs deliverance. if the cat was in the human body it would not need salvation, as its mind is innocent, as it isn't a human soul.

and what determines what is a human is if all 3 components are there: a human soul, spirit and body. No body, you're either having an OBE or you're dead. No spirit, you're dead. No soul, not human in the slightest.

BROWN ACID IS BAD!!!

Since a cat cannot exist in a human body... This is a pointless question... Christ died as payment for the sins of humanity, a free gift to those that will believe in Him as savior and lord... Not cats, dogs, sheep, cattle, goldfish...

Catwoman,Batman,Joker...all must come to a place of repentance and faith in Jesus Christ..apart from which, there is no salvation.

"Other beings" are not mentioned in the Bible. Jesus died for human souls only. And as such are the only ones in need of a savior.

" I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life; no man can come to the Father except through me". -- Jesus Christ (Jn. 14:6)

" Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved". (Acts 4:12)

The animals have done nothing wrong. It was mankind who originally fell from grace. So it's us humans who need Christ.
