No matter how old, loud music can effect you, your bf, and your baby's ears. You don't want to be def when you're old. And, this will be a large problem because when the baby is in your tummy, it's body is forming. You don't want and deformations with your baby. It's ear drums could seriously be damaged by your bf's music. Just tell him for the sake of all of u guys' ear drums, TURN IT DOWN!!!!!!! you can still listen to your music at a safe volume.

I've heard that loud concerts can hurt/damage the hearing of a fetus if you are in that enviroment often, so I would think being in a car with extremely loud music would do the same thing. They most certainly can hear sounds in the womb.... I would tone it down. Tell your boyfriend to get an iPod. He's going to have to make those changes once the baby is born, anyway.

Loud music at any age either gender is really bad. Loud music now will cost your hearing later. I know from experience. My mothers was in the same situation and they had a an Major car accident which left my father dead and her and the baby fighting for their lives, also it cause me to be born 50% death. and for to lose her hearing a few later. Look at the cost of hiring deaf interrupter. I had to have it thousands thousand just to communicate with my mother.

The vibration the loud bass causes can affect you and the baby, causing heart problems, circulation problems and ear problems. Tell him to turn it down or don't ride with him...
"Growing evidence suggests a link between exposure to noise and development or aggravation of multiple cardiac and circulatory problems. Studies also suggest that unborn infants may be negatively affected by the physical changes the mother experiences in response to stressful noise exposure (Kryter 1985)." Taken from:

Babies don't develop their hearing until the last few months of pregnancy. It could cause the baby some discomfort. Have him turn it down. I know when i was pregnant, i rode in a car with really loud bass and my baby went crazy inside my stomach. Kicking and turning and stuff. lol. I don't know if you can feel movement yet, but that was always amusing to me.

It won't harm your baby, but might be bothering people in the street! LOL .....My baby seemed to enjoy loud music and would be very active. Now she still loves music at 23 months and is quite a dancer!!

THE BABY CAN NOT 'HEAR' THE MUSIC (sorry. Was i shouting?) But the music could distract Your Boyfriend whilst He is driving, and He might have an accident whilst You and Jr. are in the car. If He has any consideration for the child He should turn the sterio down.

A baby can hear it's mother's voice when you are 20 weeks pregnant. Why take chances...Be a good mother now! Tell your jerk boyfriend to turn down the music!!!
Besides he or maybe you may want to keep your hearing It comes in handy when a little one say's "I love you".
