No it's not true, guys can be just friends with girls. Of course, there are a variety of ways that this can occur: a) he or she is gay, b)he or she is unattractive to the other, c) 1 of them liked the other but realized it wouldn't go anywhere and so they remained friends. These all hinge on whether or not both parties are mature enough too.

Theres some truth to it.
Because guys would by nature really like to do guy things, and hang out with the guys.
You meet a girl and if you connect with her, and you like her -- AND SHES ATTRACTIVE OR SEXY in your eyes, then you definitely want to hook up with her.
What guy doesnt want a girl whos cool to hang with, AND whos sexy.
But there comes a point when if nothing happens between you two, then like girls put guys into that just friends group, so will guys.
With girls it seems to happen almost immediately. But with guys it takes more time. The chemistry if there was any to begin with is all gone, and thats it.
And once you fall into that little sister role, then its hard if not impossible to get yourself out of it.

Not true. I know several girls who I am just friends with, true, one is just cause she had a boyfriend when I met her but all the same a decent mature guy can just be friends with a girl, even if he is attracted to her.

First off let say I am a guy, I don't know you and I have nothing to gain by lieing to you, so let me tell you the big secret, every guy that Say's he is your friend that is not gay wants to get into your pants. You could do an experiment and you would see i was right, don't ask them they will just say uh I just want to be your friend, instead offer to sleep with them, like be hanging out and say oh I'm so horney would you have sex with me? and every one of them will say yes.

Not true at all. My best friend is a guy. He has a girlfriend and I have a boyfriend. It's really nice because we can talk really openly with each other.

That is such a lie! I've got tons of guy friends and there's nothing awkward or weird about it! I hate when people say that girl and guys just can't just be friends!! I don't get it...

Baloney, lots of guys and girls are friends. The sexual tension that you feel often confusion of your and their role in life. After a while, when life choices are made such as family, job comitments, the ambiguity of desires is temperd.

Most of the time,there are some that grew up together and remain friends.Never ever trust your boyfriend or husband to be alone with a female friend.Given the chance especially when drinking will have sex together.

Although many women would believe this because many guys are interested in only one thing, there are many men who are "just friends" with women. I have several women with whom I am just friends with and have no intentions of a romantic relationship.
