what would look better if i wanted to go to west point military acadamy being a Col. in Civil Air Patrol or being a an Eagle Scout

Actually a strong academic background mostly in mathematics. All military colleges are engineering schools. But I personally feel being an Eagle Scout. It shows both leadership and commitment.

Go with Eagle Scout. Although of all the West Point grads I served with and still know only one was ever in the scouts. No were in CAP. Good luck.
