It depends on exactly what you are looking for. There a LOT of books out there that cover different aspects of apologetics.
If you are looking for something that defends the reliabiity of the bible and the gospel Case for Christ is good.
My church taught an Intro to apologetics class and has link to the audio and study notes online here http://www.springbaptist.org/adults/apologetics.htm
Then there is the Creation side of apologetics. Here are 2 good websites http://answersingenesis.org/
http://evolutionontrial.com/ this one is operated by the teacher of my class. There are some good audio lessons.
I bought 3 science based today in my creation apologetics class. Evolution Exposed takes the 3 most highly used high school biology texts and refutes them with pictures of the diagrams they include and coresponding page numbers. A Closer Look at the Evidence is a daily devotional that gives you an exaple of creation science for each day. Search for the Truth is short illustrated articles that tie the physical world and science to the reality that we can trust Gods Word. This one is really good because the author has released his copyright and it is fully available to reproduce to use in your church. There is also a CD with some things in word format.
Answers in Genesis has tons of helpful online articles, DVDs and books. Here is a link where they have 3 good titles on sale when purchsed together. Evolution Exposed, War of the Worldviews, and the new Answers book for 31.99
http://www.answersingenesis.org/PublicStore/product/Answers-Power-Pack-The,5030,261.aspx
Here is a link for a 12 part DVD study by Ken Ham that I am going to order. I have not seen it but have heard really good things about it. http://www.answersingenesis.org/PublicStore/product/Answers-with-Ken-Ham-12-part-series,4722,229.aspx
Hope some of this is what you are looking for.

I'm sorry, I don't know any. (Now I'm really sorry; that was a bad -- and old -- joke!)
There's a really good Christian bookstore online. If you Google for Christian Book Distributors (also called CBD) you'll find them. They have a lot of different books on apologetics right now. You can look through those and see if there are any names you recognize. If you belong to a particular denomination, you can try your denominational bookshop. Most of them have online stores, too, nowadays.
Once you find a title, check out www.bookmooch.com to see if they have it. Bookmooch is a site for exchanging books free of charge. I've gotten a good commentary there. Maybe they have apologetics books, too. Check out the guidelines when signing up so you know what you're letting yourself in for.

Christian apologetics is simply presenting a reasonable defense of the Christian faith and Christian truth to those whom disagree. Christian apologetics is a necessary aspect of our Christian life. We are all commanded to be ready and equipped to proclaim the Gospel and defend our faith (Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Peter 3:15). That is the essence of Christian apologetics.
Books.. to read?? I'll edit when I find it... brb.

Anything by Lee Strobel. Dr. William Craig has one called, "Reasonable Faith" that is pretty good too. "Reason to Believe" by R.C. Sproul is pretty good too.
