Okay we have a stray cat that we kindof take care of, she trusts us and we call her ninja. We feed her and everything, but for a while she disapeared. (she wont come inside) Now shes back and she has a broken leg or foot.. I can't really tell. Its late and we don't have transportation to any vet place and my mom wont let me do what I want. I have money for a taxi if any vet place would be open right now, but my mom says no. (along with insulting me saying that I could never be a vet b/c thats what I want to be) So I want to keep her inside, even though she don't like it out of the cold until tommarrow. But my mom says no to that too. So shes outside in the cold with a broken foot or leg meowing for help and what am I supposed to do? My moms in a terrible mood and threatening me with fists and stuff *is mad at her* so I don't want to push my luck, but I also want to help ninja. WHat do I do? Serious answers only please. Sorry if this is messy and un-grammar like I am in a hurry! Thnx!

No I'm not calling the police on my mom, she doesn't hit me and life goes on. But I will try and take your advise, maybe I can call my friend James and he will help me. Thank you!

Call your local humane society, animal control or even the non-emergency number for the police and let them know where the cat is. If you can put it in a box with blankets, do so. It's a shame your mom isn't willing to help the little cat but you have to live with your mom so you have to do what she says. At least that will get the cat some much needed assistance. You have a caring heart - hope you do get to be a vet.

i would seriously call an animal shelter or your local vet clinic and tell them the situation. most vets and careers will go out of their way to help and you don't wont to leave the cat in pain for to much longer otherwise it might go into shock and if it's a really bad break even get some sort of blood poisoning. so yeah call a Friend to help you or the likes. as for your mum. I know you love her but she is being really selfish at the moment. put it too her that if it was her dog cat whatever and someone had found it hurt she would want them to help no matter what. Good luck :)

I know how you feel I've had it happen here. The best thing you can do is not to panic your not helping anybody that way.Call your local animal shelter they will pick up the cat because it is injured. It will be at the vets immediately. There should be an emergency number for you to call.Good Luck!!!!We thought our cat a broken foot or leg too but it was just a sist.

If you have any gauze you can wrap the cat's foot or leg and try to make it where it is held together... Get a jacket on and try to go outside and wrap it around the cats leg. If your mom wont let you use gauze or an ACE bandage, use a dish towel or a lot of toilet paper. If you have any old blankets or towels, wrap the cat up in them and do whatever you can to keep ninja warm. Good Luck!

Tanke it to the vet. If you are over 18 or out of colledge your mom has no right to stop you from doing it. If you are younger than 18 call your local vet place and take it there in the morning.I am a vet so I know what to do. Just take it to a vet. If there is any swelling take it to a vet immediatly. That will help.

If your Mom is threatning you, call the police. That's abuse! And call animal control first thing in the morning. Or if you can find an animal rescue group willing to come get her, that's even better. Or you could take her to the humane society. Your Mom sounds like your biggest problem right now though. Any chance you could call a friend to put it in their garage or basement until tommorrow morning so it doesn't freeze?

Put a box with a blanket in is outside so that the cat can stay out of the elements. then take her to the vet in the morning. some food wouldn't hurt either.

i have been in your shoes with my step dad...i would advise you to either call a friend to see if they can help you catch the cat and go from there (take cat to shelter for emergency assistance) or call local shelter. the quickest way to mollify your mom, and perhaps gain her help, is to apologize to her (even if you havent done anything wrong, it never hurts to say i am sorry) for whatever she may accuse you of. calmly explain, if you can to her that you DONT WANT< OR NEED to keep the cat unless she is ok with it...you just want to get it some help...explain that there may be ways of helping it that the cost wont fall back on her, or if there is a cost you r willing to pay it. if this is hard for you, remember that you r doing it for the cats sake.
