The Scion xB was temporarily discontinued, but will return. Toyota has said that it wants quicker product turn-over rates for its Scion brand, so that models stay fresh and contemporary.
Therefore, they discontinued the xA hatchback and xB wagon after three models years. The xB has been redesigned, was shown at the Chicago Auto Show, and will return as an early '08 model. The xA will be replaced by the xD, another 4-door hatchback, now based on the Yaris platform. The tC will continue for the time being with only a facelift. The new xB is slightly more rounded, more power, and roomier.
