Why do I keep getting an error message while trying to update CA antivirus?

It says:

"A package failed to download successfully.
Please try again later."

I have tried updating more than once, and I get the same message everytime.

Many of these problems are Firewall related. Disable your firewall and try again. If that doesn't work contact the antivirus company.

Try to go on the CA website and download the updates manually.

better use AVG pro edition..
