I restarted my computer to find that every application on my computer was removed. Safari, iTunes, everything. I heard the Mac OSX installation disc can install those applications, but I bought my computer used and never got a disc like that.

Hi Alex,

I hope that you aren't just talking about the applications that you have on your dock. You can drag them off of the dock, but the applications are still located in the Applications Folder.

That's strange if all of your Macintosh applications were removed. Someone must have drug the whole Applications folder into the trash. Yes, if you can't get the Mac OS X disk from the previous owner, you might want to wait for Leopard version 10.5 to come out which will be in a few months.

On the other hand, you might be able to get a copy of the older OS at a cheaper price.

I think you're going to have to buy that software, since you never recieved it and all. They are very expensive too...I suggest that you get in contac with the person who sold you your computer otherwise it's going to have to come out of your pocket.
