I am afraid it is at this time, they get paid far to much for putting on a non-show, need hungry fighters again.

The problem with heavyweight boxing is not just in England, it is global. There is only a few fighters out there at the moment that is any good. But sadly what is out there is still too good for what England has to offer. I suppose that the best we have is Skelton and I can't see him winning any of the major titles. Harrison should now retire as he was exposed to what we all knew........chinny and no fighting heart.

No not the end its just unlikely we will have another world heavyweight champion in the next few years or so. We had a good period in the 1990s though with champions like Lewis and Bruno also Herbie Hide was a two time WBO champion winning it the first time off Micheal Bent who was British born, and Henry Akinwande was WBO champ for a bit and he was kind of Britsh.
Im sure in the next few years someone will come through it could be David Haye, i cant see him staying at cruiserweght for too long maybe another two years then i recon he will be fighting at heavyweight.

No. Not the end of British Heavyweight boxing...
...Just the end of Audley Harrison's joke of a carrer. And about time, too.
He beats an inconsistent fighter who was on the end of a one sided battering by Vitali (Danny Williams) and he thinks he's it: "2008, I'll be Undisputed. Get behind me." Erm, no. You couldn't even beat Sprott or Dominic Guinn. What chance would you have against the Klitschkos or Sam Peter?
Never mind beating fighters like Michael Sprott, the Klitschkos. Sam Peter, Shannon Briggs, or even Scott Gammer... Audley coldn't beat a chuffing egg.
And Undisputed what? Undisputed clown of the heavyweight dicision, that's what. Because Audley Harrison is a chuffing joke. I'd rather "Get behind" someone who can do their talking with their fists...Someone who can deliver. For me, this is not Audley Harrison.

Audley Harrison should give up boxing now, before he seriously injures himself.
He's very disillusioned at the moment, thinking that one more fight will bring him back, but sadly it's over for him.
Audley, you had an average innings, but it's time to give it up mate! Leave while you're still alive.

There will be more British Fighters in the Future. People seem to forget that Lennox Lewis was originally from England. No one can say yes to your question because no one can see the future.

It's even worse in the States right now, so the problem isn't with Britain, it's with heavyweight boxing in general.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't the prime objective in this "sport" to inflict so much damage that one or the other is, in the referee's opinion, either knocked out or incapable of defending himself any longer?
If I arranged such a "contest" at 10pm on a Saturday night, in my local town hall square, between 2 people who agreed to abide by the same rules as those applied in this "sport", would not the 3 of us, quite properly, be arrested?
This activity is obscene, and has no place in any kind of society.
I sincerely hope that we have nothing better to offer, and, for
the future, even less, until the "sport" is given the place it belongs - a disgraceful part of history.
