I've seen this so many times and my heart goes out to you. I HONESTLY KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. You can't help developing feelings for someone, but you also can't make someone else like you. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders and I'm sure you've heard this before, but someone will come along and really be worth your time. You shouldn't have to convince anyone to date you.

Let her know that you don't have any intentions on breaking up , you just want to be with her as long as the stars have been in the sky . GOOD LUCK !!!

Ugh, I know the feeling. It's hard to sacrifice friendship for "something more" if you don't know if you can go back to being friends.
Just tell her how much you like her, and let her know that you value her friendship. Be sweet and honest, she'll come around if she likes you as much as you like her.

Best friends have better relationship than bf & gf. Respect her thoughts. Be her best friend rather than her bf. Its true.
