It's kind of the different vices that attack each gender. When a man screws up it's because he's in love with his addictions. When a woman screws up, it's because she's in love with herself. For example if you catch a man cheating, he will feel stupid and guilty for it. Catch a woman doing the same thing, she will defend herself and still blame the guy because she thinks she's entitled to the best.

And plus some guys have no choice but to go with the flow, because they fear when they tell their woman what they don't like, that the woman will leave them.

I heard of many a man who blew their heads off when their woman left them.

its not a matter of women being more prone to over reacting, its a scientific fact, that women are more in touch with thier emotions than the guys are. so when they catch the guy they love cheating, of course they' going to say something, it would take a very special person to ignore that, if the dude can't see that, then she's too good for him.
its also a matter of opininion, all the guys i know are just as bad as the girls when it comes to reaxtons to cheating. not every body cheats, so i say you'd better go out and analyse data. guys are as bad as girls, not very many people put up with cheating, even if they love the person.

In my life's experience, what you describe is not the norm. Both men and women tend to freak out when they catch their loved one being unfaithful, and I don't see women cheating ALL the time either.

I don't think this is a broad guy/girl tendency, but maybe more descriptive of a few individuals in your life.

There are actually two sides to this scenario. On one side, the
women "freak out" because they feel threatened and betrayed. So, she's attacking him as the culprit--her feelings run deep, and
the word "forgiveness" isn't her favorite right now. Basically she
is on the edge of hatred. On the other side, the men
don't like it, but are willing to try to mend differences. He thinks,
"Okay, she slipped--she just made a mistake." With that thought
in mind, he can forgive her and help her to make better decisions
next time, and to avoid temptation.

It really depends on the person . Some men aren't going to put up with that and some women won't . They do it cause they probably feel like they can't find anyone who will love them or they don't want to go through the dating process again .

See when you find the male cheating he obviously has the illusion that he is th alfa( rules and everyone wants him), a dawg, or has a sickness. When the male sticks through it he put all his love into the relationship so he doesn't get that feeling alot so he is pathetic to try to keep it. The girl is obviously a h**.

I honestly think that it is a security issue. Women tend to think that if a guy cheats on them, then they (the woman) are not sexy enough, or that they cannot satisfy the guy enough.......and then it gets into a right-versus-wrong thing......Then, to feel desired, the woman seemingly needs more than one man to remind her of this fact.......then she feels secure in her looks, in her love, and in her desirability....

Also, it kind of boils down to the "if you do it then it is wrong, but if i do it it is okay/cute" The girl feels that a guy cheating on her is 100% wrong because after all, he should remain faithful as a test of his love for her, but she does not need to remain faithful because she is sure of her love for him.......she just needs that extra "man" to feel secure about herself (it's backwards i know, but i believe this)....

If a couple love each other, it is not right cheating around at all. The real love needs to be complete, blessed and patient.

Cause they like a damn challenge. Look at all of the women who want to look like barbie. They know they never will but try anyways. Same for guys and Jessica Alba, they are nice to her cause they think that they have a chance of sleeping with her.
