I am having the biggest writers block EVER!!! I just need help getting started I think. I am one of her 2 maids of honors and I am going to make a toast... sounds easy right?? HAAAAAA She has been my hero since I was .... well, as long as I remember. She has overcome AMAZING obsitcles to get where she is. (Doctor of Psychology) And soon to be uncle Mike has been her best friend (and my "uncle mike") since I was 3. Any good writers have a start for me?? Thanks!

U should start off by saying what u just said..."she has been my hero since"...and then say why she has been ur hero. then u could tell her thank you for all that she has done, and that it means so much to u to witness this special occasion. Or you could start off by telling a story of a memory that y'all shared.

She has been my hero since I was .... well, as long as I remember. She has overcome AMAZING obsitcles to get where she is. (Doctor of Psychology) And soon to be uncle Mike has been her best friend (and my "uncle mike") since I was 3 -- sounds like a perfect start to me. Speak from your heart. Wish them a wonderful life together. Raise your glass. Done!

I am a good writer but a lot of this comes from the heart and you know you have to write it. It's funny... what you wrote above was great... painted a picture of who she is and how much you admire her! You can also google wedding toasts for some ideas. Also, you may want some humor in there... I.e. "I posed a question on yahoo answers on how I should write my toast for tonight and someone told me to ...." I'm sure you will get some stupid answer on this site that will make you laugh and you might be able to use that in your toast. Good luck and have fun with it!

Just say something like " i wish the best of luck on your journey that you begin together i know you'll have your ups and downs but the important thing is that u love each other and always will And I only hope when i find my special someone that our relationship will at least half as wonderful as the one you two share." Then of course you finish by saying "To the bride and groom and may they love each other for eternity"

Go to Barnes and Noble (or other bookstore) and find the wedding section. There will be several books there on toasts alone where you can cull some ideas or simply use the ones they've crafted. You also might write a funny poem.

what u just said as details were absolutely fine...just think of anything amazing that she has done and will continue to do with the rest of her life. for example..(maybe) if she was a good listener or would always have opinions on everyone's point of view, then u can say so....if anyone needed help, u can always turn to my aunt, she will always give u advice and will always be there for u. i don't know if that helps, but also think of what she did to help you can she also do to help everyone else? (sorry if it doesn't make sense.) good luck!

The love you both share today will blossom into an eternal flame for the universe to see.

Keep it short and simple and then you wont have problems.
