well my puppy lucy her flea collar is lost but if we don't find it we will have to check and see if she has fleas, ticks, or both HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look inside her fur and see if you can see the fleas, they can't hide very well.
Give her a bath with Dawn dishwashing detergent and if she has any, they will die and come out.

yes check in the coat and on the belly. i have never heard of using dawn dish soap on a puppy for this. Adams flea and tick shampoo should do the trick. if it is old enough use the stuff that goes between the shoulder blades. vac the house with a piece of good quilty flea collar in the vac.

Fleas are a major pest. There are various species of fleas - cat fleas, dog fleas, rat fleas and rabbit fleas.
You can get rid of them by the safest and cheapest methods like boric acid.

If she has ticks, there will be bumbs on her skin and she will probably be uncomfertable and maybe even in pain.
If she has fleas, she will scratch and you should check her tummy and see if u see anything black/brown jump and move around.
